Since I started baking my breads, friends and family were always part of the story. They helped me with their feedback, advice but also consuming the result of my recipe tests.
However, soon they were asking me to bake for them for some occasions or wanted regularly bread baked from me. Since it is a win-win situation, of course I didn’t say no. I could specialize myself in several recipes and they could enjoy some healthy and wholesome food.
Furthermore I could get also interesting insight into folks taste and realize how different one and the same product is received by different people. For some friends the taste was too sour, others wished for a more intense taste. Some liked the caramelized crust, for other it was already a “burnt” bread. Some liked specific spices in the bread such as fennel, anis or caraway seeds, others wanted to enjoy the pure bread made of salt, water, flour and sourdough.
Well, after a lot of bakes, feedbacks and commands, my most baked bread and pastry portfolio has crystalized. I put it together in the slides below.
